Default 400 2stroke mods

Have a 97 400 sportsman 2 stroke 4x4. Need clutch mod. Any mods or lifts???

These guys have lots of stage kits for the 378 two stroke motor. Aaen Performance - Polaris ATV Scrambler 400

WOW 70 hps!!!! Out of this motor really thats focking insane bet it runs nice price. But man power compared to 800cc with LESS weight. So this means.

1. Need upgrade clutch to delete ebs.
2. Need to delete override switch.

Should already have a non ebs type clutch system on the 97 400 Sportsman unless some swapped it out. Just pull the black wire from the reverse over ride module to defeat thsi system.

EBS is "Engine Braking System" The engine compression helps hold back the ATV going down hills instead of relying on brakes alone.
With out it CVT machine just free wheel down a hill.

If you put a ATV in low range without the ebs option going down a hill you get a similar effect as ebs I find on our 97 SP500 with no EBS.

Yea it a snowmobile trick also added for 6wd polaris for heavy loads going down hill. But I don't want atv picking my riding style. What brakes are for. But with couple 100 lbs in bed of 6wd going downhill I could see safety issue. I never use brakes
