I was looking at a 1996 Polaris 400 4x4 Explorer, its in real good shape except that it has 5,000 miles, the price they are asking is $2,895. Should the price be lowered? Is it worth buying? Will the engine be ok? is there any problems that might occur with a engine with 5,000 miles? also the tires are worn out so should the price of $2,895 be lowered? Forgot to mention, no previous engine problems.
thanks let me know

got to kbb.com to find out the book value and go from there. The 400 motor is bullet proof. might want to check out the chains and the brakes things like that. got a friend who has one will pull 27 inch Vamps like they were 20 inch slicks.

I just bought a 96 400 Explorer 4X4 with 600 miles on it for $3000 and I love it. I have a buddy with a 300 ex and I can out run him and another buddy with a foreman 450 and I can go anywhere he can. It is the best of both worlds.

Good price if machine is very clean. Check front chains.
