Need to drain the crankcase??? Or am I really going to half to break motor down and rebuild it from bottom up?

 

Easier to remove the bash plate,but you can do it without. Center of the crank case is a 10 mm drain screw. To the left of it is the 10mm counter balancer cavity drain plug. If the crank is full of gas,drain it and pull the spark plug and recoil the engine over several times.
