What do you say about the Trailblazer
#1
I am looking at this bike for my wife and daughter and some day my 6 year old. I dont know anything about Polaris' other than that it is the best automatic to buy. I was curious of what current owners say about this bike and what they paid. there is a 2000 in the paper for $2,900 only ridden twice. What should I offer? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

right now you can buy a 2001 new in our area for $3000 It is a great machine I have one and am getting another one in a week or too. They can be a lot of fun and you can hop them up latter for real fun. They have around 21 horse and add a $310 pipe from hpd and you go up to 30 horse. The suspention is great and gas milage is real good and with the 4 gallon tank you can ride all day long. It used to be mine and my 15 year old took it over. I highly recomend it but $2900 seems a little hi when you can get new for $3000.
good luck

I've got two trailblazers. A 99 and a 00.
I think they are the best value for your dollar of any quad out today. Very easy for your wife and kids to ride. Not too fast but can be modified fairly easy if you need more speed. I've got four kids. Ages range from 10-16. They love the way they ride.
I paid $3000.00 for the 99 and $3200.00 for the 00
The 00 is all stock and the 99 has alot of mods.
Other than your regular maint. I've had absolutly no problems with either of them.

I can echo the words of everyone here, a great fun machine with plenty of power for trails. Not the fastest quad around - but mods are inexpensive if you want some more power. I've had no problems with mine, just routine maintenance. I don't think I'd pay more than $2500 for a used 00, any more than that and you might as well buy new and get a warranty. Good luck!

I have a 00 TBlazer and I love it..I'v had no problems with it at all..as a matter of fact I'm thinking of getting one for my wife..
Mods are fairly cheap for these bikes and can make a very big differance.
I have had other bikes in the past but i'll tell you that after riding a polaris it sure would be hard to go back to shifting again.and for the price of a tblazer around $3200 it's pretty hard to beat..
I would say that about $2600 or $2700 would be a fair price for a used 2000 model,,unless it's been (Trashed)so to say.
Whatever you decide on in the polaris line you will certainly not be disapointed in.. Good Luck

I can't say anymore about my 2000 TB then what has already been said. I love it.
Also, $2900 is too much. I paid that for my brand new 2000 model in November of 1999. Toss out a hundred or 2 more and get a new 2001 model with a warentee.

My wife just sold her 98 for $2000 and shes gonna buy a 2000 from a friend of ours for $2600. Around here new ones are $3300+ tax so its not worth paying the extra for a new one. Besides the one she's getting is like new. They are an excellent machine ALWAYS start in the crappiest weather and run till you shut it off. They are far better in the snow than my banshee and my friends warrior and they have an easy reverse unlike the warrior. I liken it to riding an easy chair thru the woods. I still haven't figured out how to jump it and wheelies seem impossible. Just right for the new rider.

I'm in Tampa Fl. and am selling one for $2800 OBO. They go for $3200 new here. But add tax and dealer costs and you got another few hundred (depending on tax rate)
It has less than 75 hrs. of riding on it by my wife (stored for 6 mo. in summer last year). It's all stock except acerbis brush guards
Mostly slow trail riding and it has never been in water deeper than a few inches (and obviously never seem snow ). garage stored on trailer when not riding.
Reason for selling: I wanted to go back to a two-wheeler so the wife gets my modified TB.
Good luck, depending on what they go for there I'd offer a few hundred less than the $2900 he's asking and you will save alot from buying new.
