anyone else have problems with predator 560
#1
I have an 05 predator 560 and first I sherd the bolts on starter clutch so I cleaned it all up and fixed it than I fried the wisco piston so I put a new sleeve and wisco piston in it and now today I dropped a velve and messed the whole top end up. This has all happened within about two months time. Can the motor not handel the bigger bore or what I'm to the point of giving up on it and getting an outlaw 525s and keeping it stock being its just about as fast as a 560 pred.

Predators and Outlaws both were high maintenance atvs.Had more problems seems like on the Predators than we ever did with the Outlaw as a lot of people thought it was like the Scrambler 500 and maintenance should have been about the same.Valves were the biggest problem I had because of the 15 hr check/adjustment of the shim under bucket system. Most people didn't have a box of shims and didn't want to take em to the dealer for adjustment. People that bought the Outlaw knew very well what they were getting. A full blown race quad straight out of the crate and usually maintained these machines properly. The average person could adjust the valves and perform other maintenance on the Outlaw easier than the Predator. Didn't have many that tried big bore kits on the Predator. If they wanted more they just went with the Outlaw.
