I have a 400ex with a stock front end. I want to get 450 shocks on it, but I keep hearing different things. First of all, how much will it raise the front end? I thought it was just like 1/4 in but is it more? Also, I know some people say they are too stiff, but I am a 300 pound guy. Would they work for me without revalving? Thanks for all replies.

 

I went to 450r shocks on my 400 but I also have a 22" rear tire and the quad is level. I am 170# and its perfect for me so i am going to say it might be a lil soft for you. might need a revalve.
