Default 2012 Sportsman 500 HO turning off

I have taken this thing to the dealer/mechanic multiple times and they keep telling me nothing is wrong with, but it turns off constantly. Every time I take my thumb off of the throttle it turns off. The mechanic at the dealer said that it was probably just some bad gas and that everything would be fine...but I have gone through several tanks of gas and it never gets better. I cant even change gears without giving it a little bit of gas. Has anyone ever had this problem or does anyone know what might be causing it or how to fix it? thanks

Sounds like the throttle lever is too loose. Must have only 1/8" slack or it will touch the etc contact points in the throttle housing and die.

Thanks for the help! I will definitely try to do that! All I have to do is turn that rubber part?

Pull the rubber sleeve down exposing the plastic cable adjuster and lock nut. Loosen the lock nut, turn the adjuster to where you have between 1/16" to 1/8" free play ONLY on the throttle lever. If this is the problem the dealer should have caught this..

Just get the proper slack at the throttle first. Adjust the carb idle around 1100 rpms.

A Polaris dealership/mechanic did not know about the ETC switch adjustment ! Scary.
