1995 xpolerer 400 4x4 drive belt rubbing

how wide should the drive belt be to be good, mine rubs on the in side of the cvt cover at low RPMs.

The old belt cover were flawed due to warping from heat , Polaris did a belt cover upgrade in the late 1990s.
