that does seem high for stock. but atleast you know you got a nice gain out of the pipe.
now i just hope mine comes out good with the full big gun pipe, uni filter and k&n jet kit.

Talking to the guys at LRD, I found out that they only put 1 wheel on the dyno and on the other end of the axle, they remove tire and put it into some type of bearing to hold it. That is why it shows more than most dynos with full tires on it. Also, they use a low profile, flat track type tire.

Thats a good HP gain. Do you have a torque graph?

Looks like the chart is showing less than 50 hp. I thought they were promising 50+ ?

Also, is anyone starting to think that you could get close to the same performance with the airbox lid off with the baffle out? I would like to see them test under the same restrictions instead of stock pipe with restrictive airbox vs. aftermarket pipe with ideal jetting and free breathing intake system.

Bash
If you look at the picture right above the dyno chart, it shows my quad on the dyno, you can see the setup they used.

Gary
I didn't get a copy of the torque graph... lol I forgot to ask for it... I was kinda excited to be getting my quad back.... I was told though that the torque graph was basically identical to the HP graph...

A stock Raptor only has 37-39 hp in rear wheels. this says 42-43 stock? that is wrong. It must have tested 48 at the crank.

One main thing to remeber is that each dyno will measure different. The main thing is that the same quad was tested on the same dyno, under the same conditions.... then I just look at the difference between the stock vrs piped. Seat of the pants says that there is one hell of a difference.... not even the same bike when it comes to tearing it up on the dunes.... That is the only place I have rode it since I got it back... but it is a major night and day difference.

I am doing stuff with ease now that I could not do stock, even with the 12 tooth front sproket. I am running the stock 13 tooth again.

I am very very happy with the performance.

LOL and honestly that is all that matters
