just got a 400ex and had to change the rear bearings and carrier that was easy enough but today i trailed to my friends to go ride on the ice around the ice shacks and it leaked gas on the way there and back any ideas what that would be? Am i subposed to shut the gas off? This is my first sport atv so its all new to me

 

If it is leaking gas with the fuel valve open, you probably have a bad fuel line or the float in the carb is sticking open or needs adjusting. Was it leaking while you were riding it?

 

Im not sure but it was sitting for a few days and it dident leak

 

Check your fuel lines first thats were all my leaks were
