here goes i held the spark plug a distance of the thickness of a one penny piece cranked over and got a spark from the side electrode to the head not from the gap between the central electrode to the side electrode, touched the head with side electrode top no spark from the electrode gap does that mean the plug could be faulty the engine cranks over really well plenty of power behind it could the plug be earthing ???
ps its an un branded 110cc chinese quad

the spark is seeking ground so no, let the plug rest against the engine and see if the spark then jumps across the gap if not then change plug
