I just put a set of 18x11x8 ITP holeshot wheels on the rear on my raptor. I like the way they "dig in and shred" instead of hooking up and pulling wheelies all the time. It really feels better in the air as well when i am jumping. I can jump with more control now. The only thing is i have lost alot top speed on the straightaways. How can i compensate the difference in sprokect size? what sproket should i change and how many teeth to run. I am currently running the stock set up. Thanks

I would try a 14 tooth front if I were you.I have the 14 with stock tires and it pull them great. But if you are riding MX then you may want to stay with the stock 13 since the Raptor is kinda tall in 1st. The great thing about gear changes is that they are fast and cheap so you may want to do what I did. I bought a 12 and a 14 tooth for the front and 38-45 for the back. These 10 sprockets together did not cost more than $120 all together and I have every possiable gear for every possiable situation that may arise. But I would start out by installing a 14 on the front, this should get you pretty close to where you where.
