Default Breather hose question on Linhai 300

Hi all,

My first post, but I'll be brief. I have been lent a 2005/2006 Linhai 300, 275cc Quad, on the basis I can use it for 6 months, if I fix it. The quad came with the blown engine in several boxes and most parts ready to fix it. I have now rebuilt it and everything is fine, although there has had to be a little bit of educated guessing from time to time as I did not take the engine out.

The reason for this post is that I have a breather hose coming from the side of the cylinder head and I cannot work out where/what it attaches to. I would have thought the air filter box, but it is not long enough to reach that. Can anyone tell me where it goes please.

No, mine is completely different to that and this is a breather hose from the camshaft spocket cover on the head.

Thanks for trying though.

Have tried to show picture, it is part number 23, which has clamps on each end, so it must attach somewhere.

If it hasn't worked, then this is the page.

That should run down to the block behind the cyl' there should be a nipple for it you could try putting a catch can in but there should be 2 vent nipples on the block one is a crank case vent that should reurtn the excess oil to the crank case. Note there should be no pressure in that if thats what your worried about
