Quadzilla RL300 Oil Change
#1
Hello,
I'm looking to do an oil change on my newly purchased RL300.
The oil I will be using as recommended is 15w/40 synthetic.
As I do not know what was used before I will also be using an engine flush solution.
The directions for use say the engine flush needs to be applied through the oil filter.
It was my understanding that the RL300 does not have an oil filter by a thimble strainer locked behind a small spring under a 17mm Hex head aluminium cap.
I'm looking for guidance in locating this Hex head cap, pictures would be a great benefit?
Many thanks assistance is greatly appreciated.
Regards
Andy

If it just has a strainer and no external or internal oil filter it should look like this and usually located right at the bottom of the engine. Honda atvs have been using this for years.

Engine flush? never herd of that for atv. you may want to make sure that it is specifically made for your machine. Especially compatible with your clutches. Not real need to do a flush. I would have just went with a couple more ltr of ol and did another oil change after a 100km or so
