Got my taotao mini beside dumpster, basically altogether had to get exhaust and battery for it. Still missing key switch. Anyways it does run when I jump it on the solenoid and hold it there. I know not good. It's an 5pin cdi. What do I do to eliminate the key switch and it has I believe to be the remote box still in it. I want to remove it and the tether switch along with non important wires. So basically I want to put an on/off switch on it. Can someone please help me get this done. It runs until I take my pliers off solenoid and dies.

 

While we'd like you to have it running, we also don't like to give out the information on how to start every other quad like yours out there.

Get the ignition switch. Someone here will know where to get you the part.

 

whoa, what an easy fix, either go to a dealer and get a new keyed switch for $15 OR better yet, take the switch out, go to a locksmith and have one made for $7....wow, what a deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!why do people want to eliminate keys? i'll never understand it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!spam spam word of the day spammmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
