Default What quad and where to buy

It's been a 13 year gap but I finally got another quad, 09 arctic cat mud pro 700. My son is about to turn 5 and I really want to get him into it early and frankly, I just want to get him out of the house away from the tv and video games. I want to get him something cheap to learn on or just to see if he will enjoy it. I looked for used ones but they either aren't running or want more than I can pay. My budget is around $4-600 so I think I will have to go with a cheaper Chinese quad. I've been reading reviews and looking at sites for about a week now and every time I narrow it down to one, I realize they either don't ship to the US or the the site has terrible reviews or possibly not even in business. So, does anyone know of a reputable site with a decent quad? I was hoping for a 50-90cc 4 stroke but as of now I am open to your suggestions. Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest you get him one of the smaller 125cc Coolsters/TaoTaos.
Apparently they perform fairly well and you can limit the throttle.

I own a visually identical, except scaled up to a larger size and engine ATV and I've been extremely satisfied with it.

You may look at the lt/kfx 80 2strokes,they've been around a long time dependable more power than their four stroke counterparts. You can limit it down with the throttle screw and he can grow into it and hold him till he's 10 to 12 depending on his size plenty of hop-up parts easy to work on and quite a bit of help on this forum if you have any problems.

I'd be looking for a used LT50. Excellent starter machine and should fit the rider well.
