Greetings,
I am brand new to the world of ATC/ATV, but am somewhat familiar with the mechanics of our "toys." I just purchased a Honda 200x (1986) ATC that has a bad pull-start. I'm having a lot of difficulty finding a replacement pull start for this machine. Does anyone know if I can use one from a different year, and/or install an electric start instead?

Any help would be appreciated.

The 1986 200x has a kick starter, not a pull start.

 

Ok, at least that steers me in the right direction. Do you know how to identify what year or model it is?

 

The 200SX has a pull start. The 250X was a kick. I'm not sure Honda made a 200X. Are you sure it's not a 200SX?

 

This trike has a pull start & a kick start? Does that help identify it, or just make it more complicated?

 

Sorry. I didn't know it was a trike. Yes, it is a kick only.
