Cannodale is not a baragain, and not worth 8g!
#1
I been reading all the post on the FX for the past few weeks. I even looked at one at the dealer. Everyone thinks its such a great deal since they all think it is basically ready for racing. The FX is not a bartagin for a motocross racer. The FX is not wide enough and isn;t low enough for adgresive cornering. If you plan to race serious MX you are going to have to buy aarms, axle, and possible zps shokcs. Looking at over 10g total when you include the price of the bike.
For 10g you could buy a used 250r 3000, aarms, shocks, axle-2300 rufly, tires and rims 500, a powervaled motor-2000 and all the other things like nerfs and handle bars and still have money left over.
For that reason i do not see the cannodale taking over the 250r fame or taking over all the race tracks any time soon. And just for the record, i am not brand loyal at all.
And one more thing, i am just stating the cost of the cannodale set up for mx, for xc it should need minimal mods.
