Default Loncin 110- charging cir???Trying to get it right

I was giving the task of putting a Buyang BMX Quad w/ Loncin 110cc back together for my niece. Got it running/driving, but the electric looked like a crack addict chimp with a hammer and hand full butt connectors got there 1st.
Making my own harness, what should be the proper outputs for the stator?
5 wires
Grn-ground
Yellow and white- to regulator
Blu/Wht & Blk/Red to CDI

I thought the black leaving the regulator was charge, but has 6 volts to grnd. Is this correct?

Thanks for any help
Stephen

Ive read Lynn Edwards post(Battery not charging and others) till my brain hurts.
I think the regulator is bad. The bike runs w/ no battery other than to the starter solenoid. The wire harness was hacked beyond repair. CDI checks out OK- have Start and Kill switches along with Brake inter-lock for starter.
Is there anyway to check the regulator itself??
This is what I have so far.
5 wire stator, which I believe to be a grounded battery charge winding type.
test preformed- using a GreenLee CM950 auto ranging meter
Resistance-
Yel to Wht=.3
Yel to Grnd=.7
Wht to Grnd=.8

Ac Volts
Yel to Wht= 61vac+/- steady fast idle
Wht to Grnd= 20vac @ idle 32vac fast Idle
Yel to Grnd= 18vac@ idle 30vac Fast idle
