Does the GYT-R pipe wake-up the Raptor???
#1
Raptor owners; is the $270.00 or more for the GYT-R pipe worth it? Are you satisfied with the results? Is the bark louder than its bite? According to the test ride in the off-road.com section there is a 10-22% increase from stock. Any information would be helpful...Thanks!!!!

I got the GYT-R carbon fibre pipe for my bike two weeks ago and all I can tell you is that if your were happy with the way it's stock then you'll love the new pipe. I put it on with no jetting or air box mods and it rip's. Yes it is louder but not offensive. It has a really deep bass sound. From far away it sound's kinda like a Harley. It's worth it trust me you won't be disappionted. Call Parker Yamaha they have them for only 248.00.

Went to L.S. Utah today. My brother and friend have 12 tooth counter shaft spockets. Bro's quad has a stock pipe, friend has the GTYR what ever you call it and I have the full B.G w/ and 14-42. We all traded quads many times. All of us agreed mine pulled the hardest even w/ the taller gearing. The B.G pulls harder down low and in the mid w/ a more crisp feeling. The Yamaha piped quad was next and the stocker was last. We were all running paddles too and mine did better then I thought w/ the taller gearing.
