hey i just bought a recon and i was wonderin if anybody knew the top speed?

 

According to the speedometer in my Rancher, the Recon tops out at 45 mph!

 

I ran my stock recon at 48.7 clocked by a gps...I weigh about 125....can anybody beat that with a stock recon?

 

My recon stock has top out at about 55 according to a polaris sportsman speedometer like ive said before my recon is faster than other ones for some reason ive outran 3 other recons i passed them pretty bad on topend but oh well im not complaining

really to be honest i think its how u break it in

i think if u treat it like a baby, then later on it will act like one, but if u ride it normal and then it will kick *** forever

pretty much the same way as in trucks, how they could have the same engine but one seems to have more power than the other one

 

wow......55??? i wish mine would go that fast....you don't know of any reason it goes that fast??

 

I dont know why it goes as fast as it does i have stock tires the only thing i have did to it is i unscrewed the snorkel its still attached it just isnt goign in the air box it helped on takeoff a bit but didnt change topend

i got a 2000 recon and i dont believe that someone got a stock 250 up to 55. how fast does yours go? mine goes bout 50. and hey, if u ever need a set of tires get the REALITORS!!!! they make the biggest difference in the world.

 

I have got it up to that fast every time ive got it clocked its ran betwee 53 or 55 one time it ran about 56 i swer i dont know why it goes as fast as it does it will outrun a bigbear 350 ive outran 3 other recons a bunch of honda 3004x4s and 2x4s ive outran a prarie 300 and a polaris 325 magnum
