Just wondering if anyone knows from expierance on the performance of a R (modded) what works best for xc racing. I read the article on Bill Balances 250r xc R and the 300cc kit with tourque pipe and and o-ring head etc.. What does everyone think?

 

I think that alone speaks for itself. The champ uses that stuff, so it has to be good. I have never dealt with LRD, but a friend has, and everything has always been top quality.

 

Duncan makes a good kit with there nat porting and type6 pipe. And if your going to run any AMA stuff you'll have to run open or pro to run the 300 kit, Duncan also has there power valve head now thats awesome but its expensive, But Duncan, LRD and Curtis Sparks all do good work
