I use Golden Spectro 4 Synthetic 20/50. You should probably stay away from automotive motor oils, sounds funny for me to say as I own an auto parts store, automotive oils contain friction modifiers that are not always friendly to wet clutches. It kills me to spend $7 a quart for oil, but I really hate getting beat in a race up a hill because my clutch is slipping.

I have been using "Silkolene ATV 10/40",premium 4-stroke oil.Dealer says" Bomdardier recomends for the Rotax motors because of it's mineral content."
Seems to be working well, although never heard of it before I bought the DS.At $3.50 a quart it should be,and clutch has not slipped at all.

Crashfirepm53,
The stabilizer was probably the second best purchase that I made for the DS, right behind the pipe. I mainly bought it to control the "arm pump" that I was getting on long fast rides. It really softens the steering reaction to bumps and ruts and the slam you get when you wack a rock or two. It also seemed to control the dartiness, although I must admit that alot of that went away when I finally got the suspension set up right for my weight and riding sytle. I haven't checked my toe settings yet so there may be more improvement available, but it works so good now I don't really feel inclined to screw with it. I'd rather ride!
