I live in MA, and most of the terrain I will be riding in is very rough. I rode a honda 200sx for years around hear and often got stuck or could not make hill and etc. I would like at least decent speed and handling but probably 4x4.

Is the Wolverine for me? If not what is?

The wolverine was one of my favorite bikes it is a good all around bike. the only thing i ever dislike was the lack of a grease fitting on the front suspension (sqeeks). you can grease by hand by takeing the front susspension apart.
