If it just dies when you touch the throttle it could be the TORS, to disconnect it, follow the wires from the throttle to the "little box" and un-plug it, then unplug the wires coming from the carb top, worth a try anyways..?

When was the last time you replaced the reeds? they cold be broken or cracked. They control some of the throttle resopnse. Allthough If they were cracked or broke your quad would idle high or stall out cause it would flood. Maby your neddle isnt set right what mod's did you do to your quad also.

If its broken reeds it wont start at all, if its the TORS you can start it but right when you touch the throttle it will bogg down and want to die, if you dont want to disconnect the entire thing you can always disconnect one of the two and that will set the TORS off, then you can start it and see if its the problem?

TORS is a Throttle Overide System. It is designed to shut down your Blaster should you crash and lock the throttle in the open position therefore saving your motor. It is a prime area for a problem like you have described. If you would take the top off of your thumb throttle you will see a switch that operates as you engage the thumb throttle. Now down on top of the carburetor is a big ugly thing that also has a TORS switch inside. Both of these switches absolutely need to open and close at the same time. If they do not when you go from idle to acceleration your engine will bog. Do as the previous post said and follow the wires to a connector and disconect the connector under your nose piece and at the carb. Now from this point I am not certain if that is all that needs to be done or if you need to shunt the wires together. Hopefully someone else has this information for you. Good Luck.
