(With a grin on my face and tongue in cheek let me ask the following question

Is the Scrambler really a ladies bike?

Week after week I read posts where husbands are giving their Scramblers to their wives and boy friends are selling their like new Scramblers to their girl friends .

What is going on here? Is this a trend?

Are the ladies out there demanding Scramblers?

Some guys on here seem to be complaining that their Scramblers are breaking after riding them off of a cliff, so they are opting for other quads and giving their Scramblers to their wives.

I've been beating the snot out of my Sport for over two years, and have yet to have my first problem.

I demanded a 400EX. It is probably my gift for every holiday and occasion for the next 10 yrs but very much worth it. I have been having the time of my life on it and every time I ride it I am more pleased. The guys who have wives that even want to ride should be thankful because I know plenty of guys that would rather have a wife that rides than one that nags about them riding before they leave and when they get home. My husband has only been riding twice in the past 9 months or so and he still is so awesome and supportive that he doesn't mind me going off every weekend and riding. I love this sport!

I agree. It's great to see ladies enjoying the sport too. I just wish more single ladies were out on the trails. Because come summer, I try to spend more time on the trails than in the produce section.

Thor, I think it's spring fever or something. I too have posted similar remarks concerning my Scrambler over the past few months. I went on my first real ride a few moments ago and reality struck me like a Polaris...or should I say a ton of bricks. LOL

Over the winter I heard so much about how my quad was "this and that" on these forums it must have affected my judgement a wee bit. I still may get a Raptor, but out there in the spring mud...my Scrambler is mans best friend!

P.S. This is no longer a womans quad. (typical woman of coarse)

I'll tell you now I bought the scram for my wife or so I say. She has only ridden it up the street (too busy watching my 1 year old boy) so that means I must take it out and ride it hard enough for the both of us. Actually I bought it to fit both of our needs. I enjoy the hell out of it but I need to get her out to ride "her" toy.

I would say, judging by the amount of testosterone ( And hair on my back, yes I look like a yeti with my shirt off... ) that I'm sporting, that a modded 400 Scrambler is a MAN'S QUAD !!!!!
Although my wife does prefer the SC to the Honda...
I may have to sell the Honda and get her a SC500 4X4 before long.

Thanks, I just got my WEATHERPROOF camera replaced by Best Buy when it didn't survive riding in the rain It took me about 8 months to find the receipt and now I will hopefully be adding more photos soon. Brown Mtn is in Morganton NC....One of my favorite places to ride within a 2 hr drive. TN and WV are my next favorite places to ride because the trails can be endless there.
