2005 Suzuki Kingquad 700 value
#1
Hello, I'm looking at a 2005 Suzuki Kingquad 700 with winch, 54" plow, also has a hard case 2up seat, gun rack and other add ons. Unit is in mint condition with only 409 miles on it and they are asking $5500. Wanted to know if that's to much or is it a good price. When purchased new it was over $11,000 with all extras. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

If I looked it up right NADA says it's worth something like $3,500 with a plow and winch because it's 10 years old and KBB says it's worth even less than that (without any options). But in that condition with less miles than a most people ride in a year it's worth more. How much more is hard to say.

It sounds like it is in much better than normal condition, NADA probably never expects a 10 year old machine to have low mileage like that. I've seen one year old quads with 3000 miles on them. $5500 sounds like a reasonable starting point but in reality no dealer would offer nearly that much in a trade-in. To me, $5500 sounds like way too much to ever pay for a used quad but you seldom see used machines with mileage that low. Sounds like it was only used for hunting and plowing snow and was basically parked the rest of the time. I would think around $3500-$4000 would be a more reasonable amount to pay. It depends on how bad they want to sell it and how long its been for sale. The more they need the money and the longer its been sitting, the more most are willing to negotiate on price.
