I am looking at buying a used 2007 Z90 that is for sale. The recoil has an issue where it won't engage unless pulled very fast and then it might engage 1 out of 5 pulls. Since I am unable to pull it off and look at it can anyone offer advice on it. Do you think this is a recoil issue or could it be the teeth on the flywheel? The electric start works fine. Does anyone know if the electric starter and the recoil starter engage the same gear in the engine? If they do, I would think it is a problem with the recoil.
