HI, NEW TO THIS SITE AND HAVE A FEW ?'S MY DAD JUST BOUGHT A NEW A/C 500 FULLY AUTO YES I KNOW I'M 4TRAX BUT I TURNED HIM ONTO A/C CAUSE I TEST DROVE AND CHECKED OUT ALL AND LIKED THE A/C THE BEST. THE ? IS. IS THE FULLY AUTO BETTER (THEY DIDN'T HAVE THIS ONE WHEN I WAS THERE) THEN THE AUTO CLUTCH? I WANTED HIM TO GO WITH THE AUTO CLUTCH. HE DON'T GET INTO PULLIN FOR COMP. JUST HUNTS, FISHES,SNOW PLOWS. YES HE GOT THE SNOW PLOW AND 2500LB. WINCH ALSO.DID HE DO GOOD? AND IS THIS A GOOD MACHINE? ANY PROBLEMS TO WATCH OUT FOR THANKS ALOT FOR ANY RESPONSES

 

I think you and your father have made an excellent choice. I have had my 500 auto for just over a year and over 2000 miles without one single problem. With the hi-lo shift option you have the best of both worlds hi for getting to that fishing hole or deer stand in a hurry and lo for plowing that drive way without strain. Your dad will find that the suspension on the big cat will soak up those rough trails and won't leave him beat up at the end of the day.

GREAT CHOICE!You will not be diappointed. If there is one thing that I can gripe about, it's the few little rattles cause by the plastic. I know that is nothing to worry about, but sometimes it bugs the crap out of me. But, I'll gladly trade a plastic rattle for the great ride, awesome power, total reliability, and much more. In my opinion, you CANNOT buy a better quad. As you can tell I love mine.
