Anyone riding the TrailBoss? How do you like it so far. I just got a 2001 and will be leaving tommorrow morning early to ride for a few hours. Anyone put on a pipe or clutch kit for it. That is the only real mods I plan to do on it. I just got it for trailriding and for some just plain old fun.

 

my freind has a stock 250 tb and loves it. it's a good perfomer although it isnt a speed demon, it's a fun bike for trail ridding and light to medium mud. as for the ride goes it really soft and comfortable. even though my friend has the 250cc 2 stroke im sure it's just as good as the newer 4 stroke.

I have had mine since Oct. I have had 0 problems and little to complain about. I have added new rear tires, a white spring, and a Twin Air filter. I have been thru water up to the front fenders with no problems. I have gotten the hang of jumping it and even can get it to wheely some. I have more fun on my Boss than any atv I have ever had. I would like to go with the 414 kit some time in the future, but I really can't complain about the power it has now. I have yet to find a hill that I couldn't climb if I have decent traction. You will find that it will get a little faster and have better power after it breaks in. Enjoy your new toy! BK

The 325 TrailBoss is a great trail machine. It will mud a little and has plenty of torque for hills. I am 6'2"/230 and it handles me just fine. I like to ride all day, and this machine is comfortable enough for that. Sounds like it is just right for what you are looking for.

IM 13 yrs old and my trail boss only has a green spring k&n air filter and a jet kit. I luv it but the way i ride its a lil slow. So what im doing is puttin a 414 kit and pipe and clutch kit from rcr. i ride my dads scrambler 500 and wheelie all day but mine just doenst have the torch.

 

Thanks guys for letting me know about your TrailBoss's. I ran mine today for 20 miles for my first ride. IT runs great and I was impressed on what that little 325 can go. I only had one bad (almost bad) thing happen. Was going up a short but steep hill with a rock that kicked me off to the right some at the top and I stood it straight up but I got it back down.

What is the white spring/green spring things you guys comment about. Is that a clutch spring? Does it hit a little harder than stock? I was told after I run mine more that is will keep getting better and better as I ride it. That is nice to know because I really like the smaller machines for me. I'm 32 and weigh 200 so I can manuver it a little better. I did ride a Xplorer 400 and a Scrambler 500 but they seemed big and I liked the smaller feeling my bike gives me.

 

I got it at Target, but dont know right off what kind it is. I'll look and see if i can find what it is. The only prob i've had with it is that i cant find a glue strong enough to keep the magnet held on.

I went with Duro Mud and Sand tires. They look like Wooley Boogers only way cheaper. I got the pair for $78 from Dennis Kirk. They are a little better than stock in all conditions. They are also as light and stiffer than the Titans. If I was buying tires right now I would get the Duro Excavators. My brother put them on his son's 250EX and they are a great tire. Very aggressive and deep tread, they clean out well in sticky mud, they are heavier than the stock tires but lighter than the Bearclaws. They are a very stiff 4 ply that will take a lot of punishment. I think they are about $104 for a pair from Dennis Kirk and that includes shipping.
