Hello!

I was riding my 1983 Honda Big Red today when all of a sudden I go to accelerate and lose all power. I can hear the chain or clutch or cam or something moving but this provides almost no acceleration and it sounds as if I'm doing damage so I stop.

I was running the ATV for longer than usual without any breaks before the incident. The engine was very hot and oil level was on the slim side of the stick's marking.

I added a bit more oil but still sounds like the chain is going full speed but atv hardly moves. I tried to adjest the cam chain as explained in the manual but the bolt was on so tight I haven't been able to get it loose and actually cut my finger bad in the process and am struggling to type this...

I hope this has nothing to do with the clutch as it seems so complicated!

Any advice SO MUCH appreciated.
