Default polaris 2014 outlaw 50 wiring problem

The ign. switch has 4 wires, the red wire is hot with a test lite, with the key on there are no other wire hot. Is this for sure a bad ign switch?
thanks nick c

Don't know if it has the same wiring as the earlier models, but should have a red, brown, black and green. If it's the same, the green should have power and goes to the tethered switch, from there should have power to the green/yellow wire at the left control start switch. If you're not jumping power from the switch could be the switch itself, switch harness connector or a wire may have broken loose from the solder from the back of the switch itself. We had problems with them doing that.

Default switch

The ignition switch has 4 wires, 6" down from the switch it only uses 2 wires. I just used a jumper wire and it started and ran. I replaced the ign switch with a $5.00 toggle switch, it works fine.
thanks nick c

Guess that will work too.A 5 buck fix doesn't happen too often.
