When I read Lead by Example It reminded me of a guy I used to ride with. One day he did some donuts in the parking lot, flinging gravel all over. At a much later date his son was doing donuts in the parking lot and the dad yelled at him for doing the same thing he used to do. 
The kid was definitely following in his father's footsteps.
