Default 1999 polaris will not start

I have a 1999 Polaris sportsman 500 that will not start! The flywheel had a magnet come off damaging flywheel & stator,I replaced both of them! It will not start cranks but no spark until I let off starter switch and turn key switch off it will spark once! I later replaced the CDI box I had same results! Thanks for any help!

Pull the black kill wire from the cdi to isolate the kill circuit and see if it has spark. Even though you replace the stator check it and the pick up coil out. Stator red wire to green wire 1.6 ohms,black/red to green 446 ohms. Pick up coil white to white/red 97 ohms.

Then sounds like possibly a short in the ignition switch or the left control switch or wiring on either one,but I still would check the stator resistance out first to eliminate it as a source of the problem. Sometime you can slide the emergency kill switch back and forth and it may help, plus check all connections to it along with wiring under the front panel.
