Default Clutch Spring for Heavy riders on sportsman 500

Looking for a good setup for a clutch springs for a buddy and myself.
Both riders are 250 and 280 lbs.
Bikes are sportsman 500 96 and 01 models.
Tire size, 26"
stock springs, weights, etc...
Looking for a nice trail riding setup with more bottom end.
Not looking for a wheelie bike, just something that will grab and go.
Can sacrifice top speed if needed.

Any advice on a good setup would be great.
Could also change weights.

I've looked into this and there are just too many variables to study or get good advice from another thread.

thanks

I never tried it but the sport utility clutch kit from EPI sounds like it would do the job. Products - ATV / UTV - Clutch Kits - Polaris - 500 - Sportsman - EPI

I checked to see how much one would cost for my quad and it was about $250.

I've always gone with EPI or QSC and had good results with both.

I have stock clutching and can barely tell when I have a 150lb passenger on the back, I weigh 180lbs. Is your clutch slipping or something?
