Went out for a ride tonight and came across a sunk truck. I tried to pull him out with my 00 sp500. Now I have issues with the right hub. The wheeler will randomly clunk and pull to one side. Im thinking the armature plate is engaging or not fully disengaging. it will happen with the AWD switch on and off. I'll tear into the hub tomorrow but Im wondering what I should be looking for.

 

Usually a worn,magnetized plate keeping the hub engaged when one pulls like this,but the clunking might be a cv joint cage that may have cracked also when you were trying to pull him out. I'd check that out also.Really looks like that guy was in deep.
