I have a lonestar banshee axle in my raptor. The right side of the axle sticks out about 5/8 of an inch farther than the left. You have to look very closely to see the difference. It makes the back end 5 inches wider with the axle fully extended.

Derbyking,

Sorry to break the news to Magnus, but he does not have a Lonestar Raptor axle. He has a Lonestar Banshee axle that some unscrupulous dealer sold him as a Raptor axle. The stock Banshee axle is already 1" wider than a stock Raptor axle, so the reason his is +5" and offset is because he got an axle not made for his machine.

Sunset ATV tried pulling that stunt on me and told me that Lonestar didn't make a +4 for the Raptor. I told them I thought they were mistaken, but checked with Lonestar to make sure I was right. Sure enough, the part # that Sunset had and was selling as a Raptor axle was actually a Banshee axle.

The Lonestar Raptor axle sets center of the bike and will adjust out to right at 4" wider than stock. If there's a doubt about the axle Mangus is talking about, call Lonestar and ask them if their Raptor axle is a +4 or +5 and if it is evenly placed in the back end.

i ordered a lonestar from sun set atv yesterday.i told him i wanted a raptor axel and i told him i didnt want a durablue because it was offset.i asked him if he had a lock nut for it and he told me no but i would have to use banshee nuts.so after thinking about it i called lonestar and they said he was sending me a banshee axel, because their raptor axel uses stock nuts.i asked if it would be offset in the carrier and they said yes and told me it would be offset about 1/8".i thought that was odd because i have a hd banshee durablue in it now and its offset 3/4",but i put one spacer infront of the right hub and behind the left hub witch brought it down to a 1/4".i was going to call sun set a pitch a BIG B1TCH but decided to wait until the axel shows up and see for myself.if its only a 1/8" off set i can live with that but if its more its going back!looks to me that ive probably been lied to by sunset and lonestar.also lonestar wanted 388.00 from them and sunset wanted 319.00 why doesnt lonestar just give a guy a break so you can order from them and not get jerked around?
