Default Counterbalance puller

Does anybody have the dimensions for the counterbalance puller for a 400 Polaris two stroke? What I need is the width of the straddle for the puller itself and the rod length for the internal part that hooks to the shaft. Also how tall the straddle is. OPT are you listening?

Victor specialty Tools used to make them, then became RV tools. Then OTC Specialty tools supplied parts, but haven't found one.. Only found two,one was sold on ebay already, but found this one from RV.Counter Balancer Puller And nope I don't have the dimensions, but if you have the ability to make one just measure from case side to side over the counter balancer. You still have to have or make the bolt with outer and inner threads to pull the c/b up.

Cool This is a hard one to find...

Just heard from RV specialty tools this after noon. I told him I was going to make one instead of buying one. I believe that once I get the dimensions it's going to be matter of a few days that I'll be able to get it made. As I'm a tool maker by trade. I am going to make a print of this puller and get it posted for all to see and use if they wish. Hopefully this will take care of the issues I'm having with my recent project machine and get it back on the trails/ ice again. Come on everyone, chime in on the dimensions so I can get er done!

The document opens for me. I previously downloaded Word Viewer 2003 just to see things like that. It looks like they have a newer version. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/down...ails.aspx?id=4

Had to install Word Viewer myself to see the dimensions.. Good job itsbeal.. Most people other than a machinst like your self would spend the 40 bucks to buy the blamed tool
