What Did I Do Wrong?
#1
2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO.
I was having major no starting issues. I replaced the Stator, Bendix and Recoil Assembly. The good news is it starts and runs fine. The problem now is it doesn't drive. I can have it in gear and driving but then it comes to a stop even with RPMS up. What did I do?

Sorry couldn't help it..Look at these post as the 2000 through 2002 were the worst on clutches if the belt isn't the only problem.http://api.viglink.com/api/click?for...st%20Community

Usually item#22 is the culprit or even the outer clutch seal #10. Have to pull the clutch to get to this seal. Usually sticks can puncture this engine to clutch seal and allows a lot of water to mix with clutch dust.. Sounds like the cause of you slipping,hopefully..
