Call RCR (618)644-3211. They have a 414cc big bore kit for the 325 and many other mods. They say it will run with the 400 scrambler. Big bore kit cost $400 with parts exchange. They also have cam kit, clutch kit, and carb kit. My boss is going to get the 414cc kit this fall.
2000 Polaris Trailboss
DG alloy bumper(for a 400 scrambler)
K&N jet kit with filter.
RCR air box modification
RCR green spring
Oneal handle bars with scott grips
removed the rack
removed rear mud flaps
and trimmed the front mud flaps
Any one found an exhaust for one of these yet?
Let me know

They're not that different, and in many ways they would appeal to the same sort of person.
They're both 2wd, chain driven four-strokes, air-cooled and with two valves.
Yes, one is sold as a sport quad (not a race quad) and the other is a trail quad, but they're hardly apples and oranges.

yeah if you really want to beat him than either get a new quad or get a big bore kit and race him so that you can go downhill and he cant

They are still not in the same league. Polaris ATV's are still more for trails and just having fun. The Warrior is lighter and 5 speed tranny. The TrailBoss weighs alot more and automatic. I ride with a guy that has a Warrior and he eats my TrailBoss up. I bought my Boss for trails and just having some fun. IT will never be a racing machine. Yea a 414 will give you more power but if you wanted that buy a bigger machine. The money spent on a kit and installation you could spend a few more dollars and got the Scrambler.

I THINK EVEN WITH A BOG BORE KIT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO BEAT A WARRIOR. I HAVE A STOCK HONDA 300 FOURTRAX AND WE WERE RIDING HOME FROM A TRAIL THE OTHER NIGHT (ABOUT 2 MILES ON THE ROAD). WE ALL HIT IT HARD COMMING HOME ON A 1 MILES STRAIGHT AWAY (RANCHER, TRX 300 AND A TRAILBOSS) OF COURSE THE RANCHER WAS 1ST, AND I WAS SUPRISED TO SEE MY SELF GOING BY KEVIN (TRAIL BOOS) ONCE I GOT INFRONT OF HIM I STAYED ABOUT 4 QUAD LENGHTS IN FRONT. ONCE AGAING ALL OF THESE BIKES AREN'T SPEED RACERS..
