Default Polaris predator 500 clutch not engaging

Pulled clutch cover, basket to replace a stretched timing chain. I reinstalled everything the way it came off. Now my clutch will not engage at, can shift through gears fine. But pushrod does not seem to be separating clutch basket a bit. Is there supposed to be a washer at the end of the pushrod cap? With everything reinstalled and can push on the end of pushrod and it slides in slightly. Anyone help?

Look at the breakdown and see if it helps. If it was working ok before you took it apart, something's either missing or out of place. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Polaris, Suzuki & Kawasaki OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

Everything is there that is in the diagram. The pushrod moves fine with the cover off. How tight should the clutch spring bolts be installed? I always install hand tight.

6.6-8.1 Ft. Lbs(80-97 Inch Lbs.) in a crosswise fashion. Something is still not right either in the clutch arm, push rod assy, etc if you still cant get the pressure plate to move outward..
