My speedometer quit working and is stuck on 5mph. What would you Polaris tech's typically see that causes this?

 

If your 4wd still works , it mat just be the wheel sensor at the right front brake rotor. Its proper name is a (Hall Effect) sensor. My speedo has not worked for years over it.

A 1999 may still use the cable operated speedo , in that case forget what I just said.

Part #40 is the sensor.
