Default Weird problem, losing electric

Hi

I have a weird problem on my polaris sportsman 450 2006. After I put the ignition switch to on, the power is lost after a few sec. It do the same if I start the engine (engine go off at the same time). Not sure why it do this. Any help would be appreciated.

First check battery connections and load test the battery if in doubt. If this area is ok,then there was a recall on the ecm modules.Polaris Industries Expands Recall of ATVs Due to Fire Hazard | CPSC.gov If you have a silver ecm and not a BLACK ecm,the recall has already been done once. If it hasn't been changed, call a local dealer with your vin# and arrange to have it replaced free of charge. If it's been replaced, then more than likely it's the ecm shorting out again as it has all the circuit breakers, etc all in this one module and can block power to the dash, fan, charging can be affected, etc. Hope it's just a bad connection at the battery or wiring short in the ignition switch, left control switch etc. Here's the replacement ecm if needed.http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/140709594086?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true
