Cheapest Place For These Explorer Mods

1st off,FORGET the Dynoport pipe and silencer.Do not let the owner Rich tell you how good his pipe performs. He will tell you that his pipe requires NO modifications to the carb, airbox,or clutches. But he also forgets to tell you that HIS 300 dollars pipe does not increase performance much over stock.
Call Rick Ritter at 618-664-3211.He will give you a HDP pipe and a Scrambler silencer. He also has the reeds/spacer and airbox mods.

Try these: www.hpd-inc.com
and www.rittercycle.com
The HPD pipe is the best pipe available right now. I have one on the Scrambler with a FMF Turbine Core II Silencer. The silencer is almost as quiet as stock, is smaller, lighter and is Forestry Approved as a spark arrestor.

I have a 95 xplorer 400 4x4 with the following:AAEN torquer piper and silencer (email aaenperf@wi.net for catalog), from Ritter Cycle- chain tensioner, power reeds, 200 jet, UNI foam filter, one color up clutch spring, Wiseco 40 over piston kit, rampage rear tires. Ritter has some of the best prices. Not much is cheap for aPolaris, but what i have done for my bike has made a large difference. On a LONG FLAT road the bike will hit 70 mph, and the mods on trails make it very quick. If you have the guts it will stay very close to a 400ex in the woods.

Xplor, I was running the stock silencer for along time, but changed to the FMF when I got the pipe Jet-Hot coated. It was too pretty to stuff the stocker back on to !!! I didn't notice an awful lot of differece in sound level between the two, yes the FMF is a little louder, but it looks a BUNCH BETTER !
