I have a 2004 600 sportsman. I didn't think it had a fuel gauge until today when I had the fuel tank off and seen it has a fuel sending unit in the tank. But my speedo screen does not show a fuel gauge

 

Don't have the manual on this model, but some early models didn't have a fuel level indicator on the speedo. Best way to tell is through the cheap service manual for this model.
