Default 07 Raptor 700R Headers Turning Glowing Red @ Idle

So shortly after turning on my quad the headers turn glowing red. As soon as you go for a ride the headers go back to normal. Tryin to find out if this is normal on the 700Rs or I have some type of problem. Qual is pretty much stock except for White Bros full exhaust and a K&N filter. Any help would be much appreciated but plz only commet if you know what you're talking about.
Thanks in advance

It gets glowing red in about a minute or so in idle. Even if it's a cold start with weeks of not being turned on. So this is completely normal.

Apparently so...I visited a Raptor 700 site and the topic was well covered...

If you installed only a K&N and an exhaust, without installing a fuel controller, it is probably running lean. My Raptor 700 with a K&N and full alba pipe doesn't glow, but I have a fuel controller with a new map for the upgraded air filter and exhaust. Just my 2 cents.

Easy check...let it idle for awhile & pull your plug...if whitish then yup...it's lean...
