Default 2007 Grizzly 700, buying used maybe

Without a jack to lift the quad off the ground is there a way to check the health of the axles, a-arms, cv joints, etc.? Thanks.

Have a large friend grab each tire and rock it side to side and in and out. Any worn parts should be obvious. It's not the end of the world, I bought a well used Arctic Cat 400, honestly it drove pretty nicely, but when I took it to my mechanic, we ended up replacing every bushing, ball joint , tie rod end, all wheel bearings and brake pads! Luckily The guy that I bought it from gave me a box with every single part that I'd need. So for $250 or so labor, now I have an ATV that drives like new, as I bought it cheap ($1,400). If you find stuff worn, just make sure the price is good.

Hey, hope you were able to get this managed without too much trouble last month. If you found some of the joints or boots needed replacing, I'd suggest checking out AmericanCVstore.com - they've got good aftermarket parts across a big range. Hope everything was in good shape though, and replacements are down the line.

I use my big plastic ramps that I drive my car up on to get under mine and if needed I use my auto jack (hydraulic) to just lift a corner to work on it.
