My daughters 3150 was idling up and down on its own. I bought a new carb and installed it today, the problem didnt go away. Fires up great, but when attempting to adjust the idle its impossible. I get it set then it will rev up and down on its own. Anyone else have this problem and know the fix?

 

Sounds like an air leak or a float level issue (but leaning to the air leak since 2nd carb showing same condition)...
