Hey everyone, I was thinking about getting a Ngk "racing" igntion coil to spark plug wire/cable/lead and Ncy igntion coil and Ngk spark plug for my 110cc chinese atv with "gy6 e22 pitbike motor", then remembered I have a Msd 8.5mm super conductor igntion coil wire from a car project that was leftover, which got me wondering if it would work on my atv...

I could get the coil and spark plug I planned on, and a Ngk spark plug cap, and assemble it all with the spare 8.5mm Msd ignition wire that I already have

Or get the coil and spark plug I planned on, and the Ngk "racing" wire

Which would you do?
Msd wire and add Ngk cap?
Or Ngk wire with cap?

No one has any input on buying new Ngk "racing" spark plug wire/cap, or buying new Ngk spark plug cap and mating it to Msd spark plug wire I have laying around?

 

You could try it and see if it works or not. What do you have to lose?

 

Ya ill likely end up buying a new coil, ngk ix plug and ngk cap and rigging up the Msd wire I already have. If I have problems w that ill get premade ngk wire/cap.

Just hoping some else has tried it and compared msd to ngk
