Many people thought I was full of it when I first mentioned it. I finally found the newsletter in the following link for those interested. http://www.hondamotorcycles.com/pres....www.honda.com

We have been over this like a thousand times but here we go again it seems:

Honda will still make the 2 stroke CR lineup well into the future and past the 2002 date.

Read "Further to this pledge, American Honda announced today that beginning with the 2002 model year, Honda would only mass-produce four-stroke powered on and off road motorcycles, ATVs and scooters for the US market." what does that say? off and on road vehicles, goto honda's model page are the CR's listed under off-road or on-road? no they are listed as "Motocross" you are most likely thinking of they XR's, Street Bikes, Touring Bikes and ATV's

People...The xr's has always been a 4 stroke engine. The only 2 strokes Honda made I believe was the 250r and the cr class. That is it...now say goodbye!

The CR lineup is classified as closed course competition motorcycles. Anyone who thinks Honda would just walk away from millions of sales dollars per year by not producing MX bikes is an idiot. That means you fasttrax!!!

I see this isn't agreeable. You show me "one" 2 stroke engine honda is making in their motorcycle and atv line up. If you can't realize it is the CR line up at stake. Another thing...lose your attitude.

like I said before, is the CR listed under Offroad? no its motocross, yes people use them for offroad but they were designed for closed courses and i think anyone would agree that Honda is too smart to stop making some of their best motorcylces, yes they do have a 2 stroke bike i believe they were working on that was actually cleaner burning then most 4 strokes, by the way what evver happened to it?

I think fasttrax must be a tree-hugger.
